PURPOSE:To obtain a compact and light-weight optical pickup by setting a light source and the photodetectors on the same substrate. CONSTITUTION:An optical path through which the light travels to a 1st hologram 11 from a semiconductor laser 21 is set approximately parallel to an optical path where the light is made incident on a 3rd hologram 13. Then the optical path for the radiated light traveling to the first hologram 11 from the laser 21 is set approximately in the same direction as the optical path where the light returns to a photodiode group 22 from the third hologram 13. As a result, both the laser 21 and the group 22 are set on the same substrate 20. then a compact and light-weight magneto-optical pickup 1 is obtained. |
