PURPOSE:To form a regular and strong curved part in a part of a covering metallic material by forming a slanted part and a rising part on both sides of a main plate, and then performing formation of corrugation, formation of projecting lines on the slanted part and bending. CONSTITUTION:A slanted part 2 and a rising part 3 are formed on both sides of the main plate 1 of a covering metallic material and passed through plural groups of forming rolls. In the initial stage, longitudinal corrugation 1a is formed by longitudinal corrugation rolls 5a, 5b over the whole width of the main plate 1. Then, the slanted part 2 and rising part 3 are formed by upper and lower forming rolls R1a-R4a and R1b-R4b linearly in the longitudinal direction to nealy final form. In the last stage, transverse corrugation 1a is formed on a part of longitudinal corrugation of the main plate 1 by upper and lower side corrugation rolls 7a, 7b and upper and lower transverse corrugation rolls 6a, 6b. Further, projecting lines 4 that narrow upward are formed continuously on the slanted part, and a part of them is bent. This material is used for enclosures, etc. of a structure. |
