PURPOSE:To produce an optimum acoustic effect at all times in response to the sound source corresponding to the scene by controlling the acoustic effect processing so as to be optimized in response to the scene for the sound source with respect to an estimated audio signal. CONSTITUTION:After an audio signal is selected by an audio input selector 17, whether or not the acoustic effect is to be provided by a selector 18 is selected and the result is inputted to an audio scene detection circuit 43. Then the scene of the sound source with respect to the audio signal is estimated and a signal relating to the estimated scene is fed to a sub microcomputer 42, which controls a sound field effect tone addition circuit 21 so that a prescribed sound effect processing by the circuit 21 is optimized in response to the signal relating to the estimated scene and the setting mode of 'sport', 'movie', 'music' set by a mode input key 41. Thus, the optimum acoustic effect is produced at all times in response to the scene of the sound source. |
