A cover construction for the waste opening of production goods, which cover can be moved between two positions. In one position, the closing position S, the waste opening 2 is closed, and in the other, the use position K, the waste opening is open, and the cover forms, in different positions, a continuous safety protection for the waste opening. The cover construction consists of two cover parts 3a, 3b, the end edges 14a, b; 15a, b and outer edges 21a, 21b of which, in the closed position, rest on edges 22a, b of the waste opening, while the inner edges 23a, 23b rest on one another. In the use position, the cover parts are located with a safety interspace above the waste opening, and, in the horizontal direction, with a space between them, feed openings 9, 10 being formed between the cover parts and also between the cover parts and the edge of the waste opening in order to guide waste goods through the waste opening. Edges 21a, b of cover parts form the safety arrangements of the opening. |
