<p>PURPOSE: To efficiently adsorb hydrocarbon out of a gas stream with two adsorption beds by making the gas stream flow through both beds in parallel and then recombining the gas streams before changing-over of one bed in an adsorption system using two adsorption beds in which one is adsorbing and the other is regenerating. CONSTITUTION: One bed 1 is on-line adsorbing and a second bed 2 is regenerating or standing by. A part of feed gas is used for regeneration, flows through a regenerative gas heater 4 and then flows downward in the bed 2, flowed-out regenerative gas is cooled and desorbed hydrocarbon is condensed from the gas. Further, after the desorbed liquid is separated, the generative gas 5 is added again to the feed gas to the adsorption bed 1. By using two adsorption beds in such a manner, complicated piping is unnecessitated and the quality of the treated gas is made constant.</p> |
