PURPOSE:To prevent pinholes by forming a photosensitive emulsion layer containing a tetrazolium compound or a hydrazine compound on one side of a support and on its reverse side a layer containing a specified polymer and a surfactant. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive emulsion layer formed on the support contains the tetrazolium compound, such as 2-(benzothiazol-2-yl)-3-phenyl-5- dodecyl-2H-tetrazolium or 2,3-diphenyl-5-(4-t-octyloxyphenyl)-2H-tetrazolium, and the hydrazine compound, such as 1-formyl-2-(4-diethylaminophenyl)hydrazine or 1-formyl-2-(p-tolyl)hydrazine and the layer formed on the reverse side of the support contains the polymer having sulfo groups and the fluorinated surfactant, thus permitting pinholes to be prevented. |
