PURPOSE: To reduce necessary calculation quantity by obtaining standard deflection with a pixel value, a square pixel value and desirably two developments executed on the center constituted by the number of elements being the power of '2'. CONSTITUTION: Standard deflection is obtained as (S2 /(N2 .M2 )-(S1 /(N1 .M1 ))<2> )<1/2> . S1 is obtained by the pixel value X and as the result of the development of the center of the (N1 ×M1 ) same element surrounding the pixel X. S2 is obtained by the square of the pixel value X obtained by permitting a square value to use a lookup table and as the result of the development of the center of the (N2 X×M2 ) same element surrounding the pixel X. A root value is obtained by using the look up table and a value N1 .M1 and/or a value N2 .M2 is the power of '2'. Thus, calculation quantity can be reduced by considering standard deflection. |
