PURPOSE:To improve the assembly operationability by attaching a spring seat to the piston rod side under the condition that a coil spring is compressed by an engage means, and thereafter, engaging the second engage means to the spring seat, and compressing a shock absorber and the coil spring to the maximum to complete the assembly. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the assembly operation, firstly, a coil spring 2 is placed on the lower spring seat 5 of a shock absorber 3, and while an outer casing 4 of the shock absorber 3 and the sliding part of the outer casing and its piston rod 6 are covered by a rubber boot 13. Next, the first engage means 24a is positioned at the engage position upper of the coil spring 2 and this engage means 24a is moved by an elevation means 26 and a parallel displacement means, and an upper spring seat 7 and a bracket 10 are mounted to be engaged at the tip of the piston rod 6. Next, the upper spring seat 7 is locked by the second engage means 24b, and by its fall down movement the coil spring 2 and the shock absorber 3 are compressed to the maximum, and a bump stopper 15 is pressed-in to be fixed to the engage part 16 of the spring seat 7 so as to complete the assembly. |
