FAULT DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS FOR ELECTRIC APPLIANCE

A sensor detects a fault occurrence for each of a number of predetermined fault conditions. One of a number of designated codes that corresponds to one of a number of corresponding groups, each corresponding group having two of the predetermined fault conditions, is manually inputted. A controller inputs the designated code for determining if the fault occurrence exists for two predetermined fault conditions in the corresponding group. A device responsive to the controller indicates the existence of the fault occurrence in the corresponding group of the predetermined fault conditions. The indicator includes a lamp and the controller includes a device for activating the lamp.
