PURPOSE:To construct an input device even if an operator takes trouble for programming by selecting parts to be operated, arranging them on a display screen and giving a parameter which comes to be an input at the time of operating the parts to be operated. CONSTITUTION:The data input device 2 and a pointing input device 3 are operated and the objective parts to be operated, which are previously set, are arranged on the display screen 1. Then, the parameter is given to the arranged parts to be operated so as to generate the input device on the display screen 1. A controller 51 converts the input device on the display screen, namely, the parts to be operated, arrangement data on the parts to be operated and the input parameter into machine words, stores the converted machine words and constructs the input device on the display screen 1 based on the stored machine words. Thus, the operator does not need to give the trouble for programming.
