PURPOSE: To reduce the selection of a lower conductor by means of an upper conductor and to improve the intensity of a signal in a lower conductor on the surface of an overlay by inverting the orientation of an upper conductor set. CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate 56 is flipped and the upper array of the ITO conductor 58 faces upward which is opposite to CRT 12. A lower substrate 34 and the upper substrate 56 are connected by the sheet of polyester group adhesive 54. When the overlay 50 receives friction given by a stylus 24, flipped overlay laminate structure makes a lower conductor signal loss to be a minimum by the selection of the upper conductor 58. Thus, the intensity of the lower conductor signal is improved.
