PURPOSE: To make an infusion device assembly accepted by users and to make it portable and comfortable to have it on, by providing a housing with tow separated parallel chambers and with a flat profile. CONSTITUTION: A medicine 7 to be supplied is contained in a first separated chamber 3 and an osmotic driving fluid 17 is contained in a second separated chamber 4. The fluid is introduced from an injection port 18, and then the injection port 18 is blocked. The driving fluid is normally water, but an optional liquid which can generate an osmotic pressure in cooperation with a solute can be used. The wall is made of a metallic foil, a metal-covered plastic foil and so on, and it consists of these together with a seal 19 covering an opening 20 of a supporting film 16. The top portion of the second separated chamber is pushed so that a start button 21 enters into the opening 20, to make a hole in the seal through this action and to function the assembly by contacting the driving fluid with a core portion 22. When using the assembly, it may be fit up on the user's body by using a biocompatible adhesive through coating it on a substrate.
