REWRITABLE OPTICAL DISK

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of the optical disk recording medium which is improved in the preservable life of recording preferentially to a rewriting repetition characteristic or is enhanced in the rewriting repetition characteristic preferentially to the preservable life of recording by forming recording films in the respective grooves or between the grooves of the above-mentioned recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Metallic films 2 consisting of In45Sb55 are deposited by evapora tion on a 2P substrate (pregroove substrate) 1. The inside of the grooves is crystallized by a laser beam and is sputter-etched by Ar so that only the alloy films 2 in the grooves remain. An alloy film 3 consisting of In35Sb65 is then deposited by evaporation. The film between the grooves is crystallized by the laser beam and is subjected to Ar sputter etching.
