PURPOSE:To enhance the quick charge-discharge performance of a battery by using a supporting salt having large ion radius, and using an ion having small ion radius as a charge-discharge dopant. CONSTITUTION:Supporting salt ions are removed by undoping from a uniform film comprising polypyrrole and a supporting salt having a molecular weight of 200 or more and containing larger radius ions to form the polypyrrole film having wide passages for diffusion of charge-discharge dopants. Then, ions having smaller ion radius than that of the supporting salt are doped in the polypyrrole film. The polypyrrole film is formed on an electrode substrate. The ion radius of the supporting salt ion is about 5Angstrom or more. Polycyclic aromatic sulfonate such as sodium alpha-naphthalenesulfonate and sodium anthracenesulfonate is used as the supporting salt. A cation exchange resin is dissolved in a solvent, and deposited on the substrate together with polypyrrole by electrolytic polymerization. |
