PURPOSE:To increase supercharging efficiency and reliability by altering a switching- point according to the detection result of running environment in a control device in which first and second supercharging conditions can be switched-over to increase supercharging efficiency in low flow side and high flow side operating zones. CONSTITUTION:A control device is provided with a first turbosupercharger 1 for low flow zone and a second turbosupercharger 2 for exclusive high flow zone, and these turbosuperchargers are operated and controlled by a control unit 50. The control unit 50 comprizes a control means 51, a detector means 52, and a change-over means 53. The control means 51 controls the operating condition of the superchargers so that the first turbosupercharger only is operated in lower flow zone operating condition and both turbosuperchargers 1 and 2 are operated in higher flow zone operating condition relative to a specified switching-point. The detector means 52 detects the running environment of a vehicle. The change-over means 53 alters the said switching-point according to the detected value by the detected means 52. The control means 51 is provided to open and close an exhaust gas cut-off valve 5 and to control three-way electro-magnetic valves 32 and 43 so that a relief valve 24 can be opened and closed in a specified relation to the operation of the exhaust gas cut-off valve 5. |
