PURPOSE:To relieve the load of a central processing unit and to improve the processing capability by connecting a conventional telephone set in parallel with a channel of a multi-function telephone set having a control line and transmitting common information among control information transmitted from an exchange to a telephone set after sharing it into a control line and a channel. CONSTITUTION:The channels 102 of the multi-function telephone set MFT and the conventional telephone set EXTm are connected in parallel and to a subscriber line LIN. A control line 101 is connected between the telephone set MFT and a multi-function telephone set controller MTC and a control line 103 is connected between the device MTC and the line LIN. Further, control information from a central controller CC of the exchange is applied to a bus control circuit of the line LIN. Then, the control information from the exchange to the telephone set EXTm is transmitted by driving a relay by an FF output controlled by the device CC via the channel and the control information to the telephone set MFT is transmitted by branching the FF output via the control line 103, the device MTC and the control line 101, allowing to relieve the load of the controller CC. |
