PURPOSE:To reduce cost and to increase volume efficiency by bringing a lead or lead alloy thin plate into contact with negative plates for electrical connection. CONSTITUTION:A plate group is formed with a positive plate 1, negative plates 2, and a U-shaped separator 3 arranged so as to wrap the positive plate 1. A connecting plate 4 comprising a lead or lead alloy thin plate is brought into contact with the insides of the negative plates. Since a battery consists of one positive plate 1 and two negative plates 2, welding job is made unnecessary, and each post can be projected outside as each terminal. |
