PURPOSE:To easily find the discharge performance of a battery by installing a charging part and a constant-current discharging part, automatically charging a battery to be measured, automatically discharging with a constant-current discharge circuit, and measuring and displaying discharge time to quantitatively judge the battery life. CONSTITUTION:After a battery 7 was fully charged, a controller 9 switches a switch 6 to the discharge side to connect the battery 7 to be measured to a constant current circuit 2, and at the same time generates a start signal. The start signal resets a discharge time display 5 to measure discharge time, and the measured time is displayed. The constant current circuit 2 makes to flow charged charges of the battery 7 to a load 3 at constant current. Upon the voltage of the battery 7 reaches a specified value, a voltage detecting circuit 4 generates a stop signal STOP. In this state, the controller 9 finishes a measuring sequence, and a charging circuit 1 stops charging when the battery 7 is, fully charged. After the battery 7 was discharged, discharge time from a fully charging state is automatically measured. The battery life can be found from this measured time. |
