A device for use in connection with the sawing of logs or the like comprises two opposite walls 1,2, which are interconnected by means of a supporting element 3 against which a log is intended to bear and which are provided with at least two pairs of mutually spaced guide grooves 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b for a saw. The device is provided with a stop element 8 for bearing contact against the end face of the log with a view to adjusting the pairs of guide grooves at predetermined distances from the end face, so that grooves for a recess can be sawn in the log. <IMAGE> |
