A small computer system interface bus (6) provides a connector between a number of computers (1-4) and a disc memory system (5). A group of switching stages (7) is located between the computer busses and the interface bus. The switching stages are linked to a controller (13). The controller receives select request signals for the individual computers and process using a priority sequence circuit with a coupled buffer circuit. The buffer provides busy signal transmissions (BSY) back to the computers. Outputs are generated to activate the disc drive. ADVANTAGE - Provides priority sequence access control of computers and disc drive.
