摘要 The image display with an ultrasonic imaging appts. involves irradiation of the examination object with inhomogeneous attenuation properties by focussed ultrasonic beams. The echo signals, reflected from the examination region, are received by an ultrasonic array with a preset active aperture. In an adaptivee phase, the sound reduction on the sound paths between reflecting boundary layers and each transducer element of the array is determined. From the values of the sound attentuation of the individual transducer elements, correction values are formed for the adaptive phase of the subsequent imaging phase. Thus the loss at the local resolution in the examination region is considerably compensated, as it was caused by the inhomogeneous attenuation properties.
