The antenna socket for a roof mounted antenna mast has relatively displaced upper and lower sections (2,3) supporting cooperating projecting socket halves (7,8) which together enclose the base of the antenna mast. The upper and lower sections (2,3) have interfitting lipped edges (4,5) acting as guide for their relative linear displacement, with the edges of one socket half (7) overlapping the edges of the other socket half (8). Pref. the edges of the first socket half (7) are bent inwards relative to the other socket half (8). ADVANTAGE - Ensures easy adjustment.
