<p>A device for manufacturing mouldings of clay or similar material, comprising at least one press adapted to deliver a ribbon of clay (5) vertically downwardly from a press nozzle (4), a cutting device (25) provided under the press nozzle for cutting pieces of clay from the lower end of the ribbon (5), and a conveying device (35) for guiding and conveying each piece (38) of clay from said cutting device (25) downwardly into a moulding tray (39), whereby obstruction means (31), adpated to be moved, by drive means (33), from a rest position beyond the path of the pieces of clay, into an operative position within said path under the cutting device (25).</p> |
