<p>A method for emitting modulated waves using simultaneously a plurality of frequencies comprises successive steps for emitting symbols during a time duration T + ΔT, two emission frequencies being separated by 1/T, T being the useful emission interval and ΔT being the transition interval. Synchronization signals are emitted allowing at the reception the sampling of the signal during useful emission intervals of time duration T so as to make orthogonal channels correspond to the various frequencies. The invention applies to the broadcasting and to the reception of radiophonic emissions and television emissions, to analog and/or digital information receivers, to telephone communications between telephone exchangers, to telephone communications between radiotelephones and communication stations, to radioelectric communications between ground stations and satellites, to communications between satellites, to acoustic communications in air and/or water and to the setting of local networks of computers. The invention is particularly well adapted to high fidelity radiophonic emissions as well as to high definition television (HDTV), and/or to digital television.</p> |
