MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

A magnetic recording layer comprises a non-magnetic support on one side of which is formed a magnetic recording layer, and on the other side of which is formed a back coating layer. The coating layer comprises 25-400 pts. wt. of a carbon black dispersed in 100 pts. wt. of a resin binder. The carbon black has a specific surface area not larger than 800 m2/g and an average size of 0.01-0.05 micrometer. The medium has a small coefft. of dynamic friction and a good travelling performance.
