Conveying system for a silo battery

A conveying system for feeding different chambers (12) in a silo battery (10) comprises a conveying container (19) which is movable vertically between a loading position at the bottom and an upper position on the upper part of the silo battery and which is movable out of the upper position horizontally into a position above the chamber (12) to be fed with the particular material. The conveying system requires only a small amount of space and is largely protected against the spilling of material and the undesirable intermixing of different materials. <IMAGE>
