摘要 PURPOSE:To cause movement of a free elevator cage to an optimum waiting floor at a current point of time and to cope with a change in a traffic in a building by providing a waiting control means which computes a fuzzy amount of a fuzzy rule responding to a waiting state of a free elevator cage and selects a fuzzy rule in which a fuzzy amount is a maximum and exceeds a lower limit value. CONSTITUTION:A fuzzy rule base 8 containing a plurality of IF-THEN type fuzzy rules in which a condition and an executing procedure necessary to movement of a free elevator cage and a learning means 10 to vary the parameter of the fuzzy rule based on information from an operation control means 3 are provided. A waiting control means 4 which computes a fuzzy amount of a fuzzy rule responding to the waiting state of a free elevator cage and selects a fuzzy rule in which a fuzzy amount is a maximum and exceeds a lower limit value is provided, the free elevator cage is moved to an optimum waiting floor at a current point of time and stopped to the floor.
