<p>PURPOSE:To readily obtain at low cost the title fibrous sheet adaptable to a wide range of applications by coating a sheet comprising natural and/or synthetic fiber with polymeric powder of shape memory nature using an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:The objective fibrous sheet can readily be obtained at low cost by coating, using a urethane-based adhesive, a fibrous product comprising natural and/or synthetic fiber with a polymer of shape memory nature, e.g., urethane-, styrene-, butadiene-based polymer powder. According to this method, uniform sheet products of soft touch can be obtained from either woven or nonwoven fabrics. Furthermore, by changing the glass transition point of the polymer and temperatures at which shape memory is to be made, the objective fibrous sheets adaptable to applications under various kinds of mode will easily be obtained.</p> |
