<p>PURPOSE:To check a disconnection in a block and to attain a cross leak measurement between various blocks by connecting a scanning line and a signal line in a proper unit in series, making them into a block, and completing the manufacture of an active substrate in a condition in which a connection between blocks is executed with a high resistance element. CONSTITUTION:The manufacture of the active substrate is completed in the condition in which the connections between blocks in the same kind G1-G2,G2-G 2,G3-G4 and S1-S3,S3-S5,S2-S4 and S4-S6 connected in series by connecting means such as a return line 30 or connecting line 31 are executed and a high resistance element 33 is connected between blocks in the various G1-S1 and G4-S2. Consequently, even when the voltage of the inspection is applied between the blocks, a current to flow in the high resistance element 33 is small, and an error supplied to a short-circuit test in the condition blocked between a scanning line 11 and a signal line 12 or to the disconnection test in the block can be easily applied to the degree not to trouble a practice. Thus, without increasing the process of manufacturing, all inspections of disconnection, cross short, and image can be executed.</p> |
