PURPOSE:To simultaneously trim and mask an original picture and write information in one image forming operation and to reduce manufacturing cost by permitting an erasing means to trim and mask the original image and permitting a writing means to write information. CONSTITUTION:In the trimming and masking of the original picture, a light emitting diode 151 is lit corresponding to the area, prescribed by a spot light source, in order to remove an electrified charge on a photosensitive drum 10. A writing unit 71 is movably provided to guide shafts 72 and 73 disposed longitudinally along the photosensitive drum 10. In this way, on the periphery of the photosensitive drum 10, an erasing array 150 to trim and mask the original picture and a writing unit 51 to write character information and other information are provided. Thus, the trimming and masking of the original picture and the writing of character information and other information can be simultaneously performed in one image forming operation, and cost can be reduced. |
