A jaw bone anchored type head positioner for positioning the head of a subject which is employed in a cephalotomograph or temporomandibular joint radiograph using X rays or the like. A die (10) patterned on an impression taken from the dentition of the subject is fixed (26) to the positioner (18) so that the head of the subject is fixed in position by means of the die (10).
