PURPOSE:To heighten moisture holding property, while water-absorbing speed is increased by providing a gap between the water-absorbing fiber existing inside of the long and narrow cavity of matrix resin and the matrix resin. CONSTITUTION:A formed object has the structure in which many water- absorbent fibers are dispersed in porous matrix resin, and the water-absorbent resin exists inside of the cavity of the porous matrix resin, and then a gap exists between the water-absorbent fiber and the matrix resin. The highly water absorbent fiber is impregnated with a foaming agent or is stuck to the agent, and is further mixed with the matrix resin in liquid state or in molten state, and the mixture is foamed under heating or without heating. Thus, the highly water-absorbent formed object is produced. The highly water-absorbent fiber is mixed with water, and further the liquid polyurethane resin having residual isocyanate radical is added to the mixture, and after its agitating and mixing the crosslinking action of the polyurethane resin by water under heating or without heating is advanced, and the resin is foamed, whereby while a porous structure by foaming is made, the formed object is produced by forming and successively drying. |
