PURPOSE:To make a hand shake as hard to occur as possible when a snap picture is taken by calculating a hand shake limit shutter speed according to the focal length of a photographic lens and determining an aperture value and a shutter speed in consideration of the hand shake limit shutter speed. CONSTITUTION:The depth of field between the focus position of a subject and a position farther than the position or the same specific position is calculated and an aperture value AVDEP which satisfies the depth of field is calculated. Further, the hand shake limit shutter speed TVF is calculated according to the focal length of the photographic lens and an exposure value EVS is calculated from the photometric value of a photometry means. A control aperture value AVC and a control shutter speed TVC which control exposure are determined from expressions I - III. Thus, the aperture value and shutter speed are determined in consideration of the hand shake limit shutter speed, so the hand shake is hard to occur. Further, the aperture which satisfies the depth of field between the subject and the same position or a position farther than it is determined, so an excellent snap photograph wherein the subject and background are both in focus is obtained. |
