<p>PURPOSE:To employ a code rule corresponding to the properties of an original sound and to reduce the amount of data and the throughput of an external host system by providing a decoding control circuit with an identification processing function for the code rule, respective codes of branching and returning, and encoded data. CONSTITUTION:The decoding control circuit 5 operates with unit voice specification codes in synchronism with write pulses from a terminal 3. The circuit 5 reads encoded data corresponding to the unit voice specification codes out of a memory 13 in order and monitors which of a code rule code, a branch code, a return code end code, and encoded data the read data is. An address of the memory 13 is specified by a register 15 and a stack pointer 17 specifies the register of a register 16, and the branch processing of the encoded data is controlled by the circuit 5. A decoder 6 decodes data from a memory 13 into a PCM code at the time of ADPCM and the code is inputted to a converter 7 as it is at the time of PCM and outputted from a terminal 4 as an analog signal.</p> |
