<p>PURPOSE:To enable a crane to be loaded on a truck by self-running and transported to a construction site without disassembly by a method wherein a plurality of posts the middle part in a longitudinal direction of which is divided are erected on an upper slewing body on a lower running body and disposed foldably, and a jib capable of freely rising and falling and expanding and contracting is mounted to the post positioned at an uppermost stage during erection. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of posts 16 and 22 of a crane are erected during a work, and a jib 35 is expanded and is caused to rise to a proper angle, and an upper slewing body 2 is slewed to perform a desired work. When the crane is transported to a other construction side, the jib 35 is contracted, and a plurality of posts 16 and 22 and the jib 35 are folded to bring them into a given horizontal state. The crane is self-run by means of a lower running body 1 and is loaded on a truck for transport via a slope bed and is transported to a next construction site.</p> |
