NEW MATERIAL:E,Z-4,10-Tetradecadienyl chloride expressed by formula I. USE:Sex pheromone of Lithocolletis ringoniella Matsumura. PREPARATION:A 5-chloro-1-pentynylmagnesium halide expressed by formula II is reacted with a trialkyl orthoformate to provide a reaction product, which is hydrogenated, then hydrolyzed, reduced and subsequently acetylated to afford 6-chloro-E-2-hexenyl acetate expressed by formula III. The resultant compound expressed by formula III is then reacted with a Z-4-octenylmagnesium halide to provide the compound expressed by formula I. |
