PURPOSE:To obtain a photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity, improved sharpness and processing stability by incorporating a benzoylacetoanilide type yellow coupler into a blue-sensitive layer and a specified pyrazoloazole type coupler into a green-sensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A benzoylacetoanilide type yellow coupler is incorporated into a blue-sensitive layer and a pyrazoloazole type coupler represented by formula I into a green-sensitive layer. In the formula I, Z is a group of nonmetallic atoms required to form a pyrazoloazole ring, X is H or a group which can be released by a reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent, R1 is an aryl or heterocyclic group having at least one substituent at the o- position, and R1 and R2 bond directly to C atoms of the pyrazoloazole ring. A photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity, improved sharpness and processing stability is obtd. |
