PURPOSE:To minimize the side shifting quantity of a metal belt and reduce the width of the belt and the width of each pulley by making the difference between the crown R quantity of an idle pulley and the crown R quantity of a drive pulley at least 20mm or more. CONSTITUTION:A metal belt 3 is stretched between a drive pulley 1 and an idle pulley 2 and the idle pulley 2 is driven by the drive of the drive pulley 1. At this time, the difference between the crown R quantity of the drive pulley 1 and the crown R quantity of the idle pulley 2 is set to be 20mm or more as, e.g., R 180mm, 90mm from an experimental result. Thereby, the side shifting quantity of the metal belt 3 is suddenly reduced to minimize the width of the metal belt 3 and the width of each pulley 1, 2, enabling equipment to be miniaturized. |
