<p>PURPOSE:To prevent collision from occurring and data from being missed by storing the identification information of a buffer memory in a storage memory in arrival order of data or in priority order in case of receiving simultaneous incoming, and outputting it to an output line according to the sequence of the identification information. CONSTITUTION:When a packet arrives at an input line 1, a switching circuit 3 selects and connects a null buffer in the buffer memory 4 to the input line 1. The packet is sent to the memory 4 and a memory circuit 5, and the circuit 5 extracts only the header part of the packet, and stores an output line number. An output line selection circuit 6 outputs 1 to an output line corresponding to the output line number designated by the circuit 5 and 0 to the output line corresponding to another output line number, and supplies them to an encoder circuit 73. The circuit 73, when receiving the signal 1, encodes the number of the memory 4 related to the circuit 6, and writes it on a FIFO memory 72. Also, when the circuit 73 receives the signal 1 from plural circuits 6 simultaneously, the priority order is attached on them, and are written on the FIFO memory 72. A connection switch 71 takes out an encoded buffer number from the FIFO 72, and connects the memory 4 to an output line 2, and sends the packet of the memory 4 to the output line.</p> |
