PURPOSE:To increase the critical current density of a Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu oxide superconducting material by incorporating W into the material. CONSTITUTION:This oxide superconducting material is an oxide superconducting material contg. W as well as Bi, Sr, Ca and Cu and the pref. compsn. (atomic ratio) is represented by a formula WxBiaSrbCacCudOe (where x:a=(0.005-0.5):1, 0.5<=a<=2.0, 0.7<=b<=1.3, 0.7<=c<=1.3 and 0.3<=d<=2.5). This superconducting material has a nearly single phase, high orientability and a higher critical current density than the conventional Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu oxide superconducting material. |
