The rotating blade (4) of the slicer is driven by an electric motor (3). As the carriage moves backwards and forwards (A, B) over the platform on which the sausage is clamped, a notch (6) operates limit switches (7, 8). Signals from the switches are fed to a calculating circuit (11) in a control unit on the carriage. The calculator output is a variable pulse frequency which is converted (9) to a d.c. voltage. The resultant voltage is compared (10) with a reference voltage (12) and the difference is used to vary the motor speed. @(14pp Dwg.No.1/4)@.
|
