This supply device is constructed on the basis of a belt supplier 2 which supplies individual products 1 and introduces them into a compartment 3 which is formed by a frame. When a group 8 of elements is formed, the supply is halted and a transfer takes place towards one side in order to arrange the group opposite a rocking grid, under gravity, and in this way the individual elements adopt a vertical position, and, by means of the device 17 they are all brought together and the group which is to be wrapped is constituted. <IMAGE>
