发明名称 THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material superior in image stability by incorporating a specific bisphenol compound as a color developer. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material provided with a thermal color- forming layer composed of a leuco dye and a color developer on a substrate, a bisphenol compound shown by a formula (l) is contained as the color developer. As the leuco dye, various types of leuco compounds can be used, such as triphenylmethane, fluorane, phenothiazine, auramine, spiropyrane, and indolino phthalide. The color-developing substance made of the bisphenol compound shown by the formula (I) is used in the range of 1-10 pts.wt. per 1 pts.wt. of the leuco dye. The use of the bisphenol compound shown by the formula (I) can realize the thermal recording material, on which a color image is very stable without the occurrence of decolorization with time or whitening phenomenon and free from the lowering in density or decolorization caused by the contact of fats and oils and the like.
