<p>PURPOSE:To make unnecessary a lifter or the like, by stopping at each pallet works being carried on a work carrier line provided above a vehicle carrier line, and receiving the works by means of a work assembling robot and then casting the works into a vehicle on the carrier line so that they are mounted to a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A carrier line L1 for works W such as front sheets is disposed above a vehicle carrier line L2, which is in turn provided with stopping means for stopping a pallet 1 at above a work assembly position P, the pallet 1 carrying the works W thereon. A pair of right and left work assembly robots R are disposed at right and left sides of the carrier line L1, L2. This robot R comprises a slider 5 vertically moveably provided on a stanchion 4 provided perpendicular to a floor F, and work holding means 6 by which the works W are received from the pallet 1 stopped at the slider 5 and are casted into a vehicle C. The holding hand 601 of the work means 6 is provided with a sheet cushion holding device, a sheet back holding device and a bolt fastening device.</p> |
