PURPOSE:To enhance the shape accuracy of a formed item and prevent it from deforming with the passage of time by a method wherein a photo-setting resin which is blended with specified filler or contains expanding agent is used. CONSTITUTION:The photo-setting resin concerned is blended with a filler which consists of hollow particles, rubber beads having a Young's modulus of 10<3>dyn/cm<2> or less or expandable particles or contains expanding agent. A photo-set layer is produced by irradiating the photo-setting resin with light. The desired three-dimensional shape is formed by piling up a plurality of photo-set layers. By blending the photo-setting resin with said filler, the shrinkage of setting of the photo-set layer is reduced and the residual stress in the layer can be prevented from generating. Further, when the photo-setting resin contains the expanding agent, no residual stress remains, since the amount of shrinkage on setting of the photo-setting resin itself and the amount of expansion in foaming are summed up at photo-setting and the shrinkage on setting as a whole becomes small and the whole photo-setting resin uniformly turns into foamed resin. Accordingly, by employing said photo-setting resin, a formed item having high shape accuracy and precise three-dimensional shape is obtained and no dimensional change occurs with the passage of time in the item. |
