<p>PURPOSE:To select the best exposure mode automatically at all times by mounting an exposure mode selecting means which is constituted in consideration of a camera shake compensable range. CONSTITUTION:A value TA which is found from the output of a camera shake detecting means 18 and indicates the blur compensable limit of an image blur preventing device is compared with a shutter speed TV found from a measurement result to decide whether or not a camera shake can be compensated. Then when the blur can be compensated, external light photography AE with a shutter speed based upon a light measurement result (TV<=TA) is selected and when not (TV>TA), stroboscopic photography FA with a specific shutter speed which is not based upon the light measurement result is selected. Consequently, the best exposure mode is selected automatically at all times.</p> |
