PURPOSE:To provide the title system capable of effectively growing seaweeds pitching and rolling with seawater flow, so constructed that sunlight collected at the upper part of each cylinder stood underwater is fed to the corresponding optical radiator with irradiation position made variable through light conductor. CONSTITUTION:The sunlight collected by each collector 40 set up at the upper part of a cylinder 10 stood underwater in a floating state is fed through a light conductor cable 70 to an optical radiator 50, and used within said radiator 50 as a source for photosynthesis. In this case, said radiator 50 is further equipped with an artificial light source such as solar cell and when the light from this artificial source is fed through another cable 70 to said radiator 50, seaweed can be grown even under weak sunlight or in the nocturnal period. Furthermore, if the outer peripheral surface of said radiator 50 is constructed with a transparent form, the light to be used for growing e.g., seaweed leaks from said radiator 50, thus enhancing the irradiation efficiency. |
