PURPOSE:To obtain the porous body of calcium phosphate compd. preferable to the prosthesis of bones and teeth from an inexpensive raw material by kneading calcium compd., phosphate and nonvolatile organic liquid and thereafter molding this kneaded material and sintering the molded body. CONSTITUTION:Calcium compd., phosphate and nonvolatile organic liquid are kneaded and thereafter this kneaded material is molded and the molded body is sintered. As the calcium compd., calcium carbonate and calcium oxide are preferably utilized. As the phosphate, inorganic salt may be utilized, but organic phosphate such as monovalent phosphate (monoalkyl phosphoric ester), bivalent phosphate (dialkyl phosphoric ester) and tervalent phosphate(trialkyl phosphoric ester) is preferably utilized. In the above method, a mixture contg. calcium compd. and phosphate is calcined and this calcined body and the nonvoiatile organic liquid can be kneaded. As the nonvolatile organic liquid, aqueous liquid material of methyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol and PVA are preferably utilized. The kneaded material is preferably sintered at 600-1300 deg.C and the mixture is preferably calcined at 300-600 deg.C. |
