<p>PURPOSE:To improve incorporating operability by uniting a ring-like case body with contact pins slidably contacting divided slip rings at the column and pad sides annularly opposedly disposed to sandwich a boss plate of a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION:A pad unpivoting type steering wheel incorporates divided slip rings 11, 15 opposedly annularly disposed to sandwich a boss plate 3 at the column and pad sides and a relay mechanism R consisting of the column and pad side contact pins 23, 24 for relaying these slip rings into the column and pad side sun gears 12, 16. Then, a contact pin unit 6 is provided which is provided with a tubular container 22 for receiving the contact pins 23, 24 as a plurality of legs 7 projecting axially from a ring-like case body 20. The respective legs 7 are inserted into insert holes 8 formed in the boss plate 3 to mount an unit 6 and dispose a sound insulating member 26 at the projecting side of the leg 7.</p> |
