PURPOSE:To exchange tools at an optional position of a tool block by providing a tool exchange arm so as to be movable to a predetermined position in relation to the tool block on a slide of a facing unit. CONSTITUTION:A tool slide 3 having two tool blocks 2, 2' is provided slidably in an arrow direction on a face plate 3' rotatably supported on a main shaft head. A tool exchange arm 1 is rotatably provided on a changer slide 4 reciprocally moved by a hydraulic oil cylinder 5. When the face plate 3' is stopped at a fixed position the changer slide 4 proceeds, and when a detection head 6 on the changer slide 4 hits the tool block 2, a dog 9 made in one body with the detection head 6 actuates a limit switch, then the advance of the slide 4 is stopped and the exchange arm is rotated to exchange tools. |
